MIRROR MIRROR

I have a thing for cool mirrors. I think that is a lesson I have learned from my Mom. My parents home is very beautifully decorated and my Mom always has her eye out for beautiful mirrors and places them in the most unexpected ways. Needless to say, I have some ideas for our loft. Maybe adding one into the gallery wall? Or propped on the ground or shelf, hung in a cluster?

SPOTLIGHT: STUDIO BOTES

Yippee! This work by Studio Botes made me stop and look at every detail. This identity design for Cavalli Stud and Wine farm is STUNNING. I love the use of gold foil, the tonal grays and blacks, beautiful fonts, logo, and use of simple clean design. Thank you Studio Botes you just made my day.

COLOR MONDAY: SILVER

Always a staple. On another note, my awesome Grandad sent me his old cameras he used while he was in WWII and then after the war for teaching, and shooting photos of the family. Thanks Grandad, I can't wait to find a special home for them.

Very inspiring work coming from Toronto based firm Burdifilek. Ta-Ze is a high end olive oil boutique, and the cleaness and purity is definitely reflected in the store design. Burdifilek is also responsible for the W Hotels, and other high-end retailers. I love the clean sophisticated palettes, tones, and lines.

I didn't think I would be giving props to a disney kid, but did you see Selena Gomez for Elle? Wow! I love the styling from head to toe. PS no need to comment on my last post about showing less cleavage, she pulls it off.

SHOW MORE BACK

Why do some women immediately think showing more cleavage is the way to be sexy. I think showing more back is far more seductive, classy, and beautiful. Take note ladies...
